If your company is thinking of doing a direct mail campaign but want to include countries outside of the UK then you will need to consider the extra postage costs. Some companies will run the whole campaign for you; design, print and mail the print work out to customers, others will just offer one or two of these services. You may find it cheaper to go with a company that will do the whole lot for you in one go rather than having to pay postage back to you and then postage out again to your customers. It may also make the mail out process a lot quicker and less hassle to manage.
If you do chose to go down this route, then make sure that you have received a final proof and that it is checked over before you sign the project off to be mailed out as you may not actually see a physical copy before it’s mailed.
Also be sure to check if there is a minimum order requirement as some companies will quote a price based on orders over a thousand etc and this can be miss leading when trying to obtain a true price. Check the lead time on all orders, most companies will make daily mailing meaning that once your project is designed and printed, it can be sent out very quickly to your customers.
